It appears that WWE is no longer pushing Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley for WrestleMania 39. We previously reported that WWE sources who work closely with Bray Wyatt had told Fightful Select that he is currently sidelined with a “physical issue.”
During his appearance on the March 19 edition of TSN Radio’s Sunday Night’s Main Event, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer says that Wyatt is dealing with an illness. However, it is not known what the illness is. Meltzer said that Wyatt was supposed to be at last Friday night’s SmackDown, but could not make it due to the illness.
Meltzer also noted that when he asked WWE sources last week if there was going to be a Wyatt vs. Lashley match at WrestleMania, he was not given an answer. Meltzer closed by saying that there are people that think Wyatt has quit the company, but there was a tease on last Friday night’s SmackDown.
