International WWE Superstar leaving the company to return to Japan

According to Tokyo Sports, Sarray will be leaving WWE after her contract expires. The also report notes that she will hold a press conference on March 13 to announce the resumption of her wrestling career in Japan. Her return match is scheduled to take place at a ‘Sarreee-ISM’ event on Tuesday, May 16 at Shinjuku Face.

Sarray initially signed with WWE back in 2020. However, she was not able to travel to the United States due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She made her debut on the March 17, 2021 episode of NXT, in a win against Zoey Stark. After NXT had been rebranded to NXT 2.0, in 2022, her gimmick was changed where she would be able to transform from a pigtailed schoolgirl to a more glamorous look as a result of a medallion her grandmother gave to her.

Her final match was on the August 2, 2022 episode of NXT where she lost to then NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. She has been absent from WWE NXT TV ever since.

Sareee is the name she used prior to signing with WWE.
