Updates on WWE and Vince McMahon’s return to the company’s Board of Directors

According to PWInsider, everyone they have spoken to in WWE, said the last 24 hours has been insane. It was said that while many have acknowledged that they knew Vince returning could always have happened and remarkable how many seemed to be either be in denial or unaware that it actually happened.

There has been speculation that William Morris Endeavor – who owns the UFC and Comcast as potential buyers for for WWE, but only if Vince McMahon were to be involved in WWE.

As of this writing, PWInsider reports that there has been no sign of Vince in Memphis ahead of tonight’s SmackDown.  PWInsider also says they have indeed confirmed that Vince is not at WWE Headquarters today.

Furthermore, PWInsider notes the resignation of former WWE Board of Directors member Manjit Singh has been described as the “least shocking move” of the day as Singh, who is a former Sony Executive, was said to have been very “by the books” and by all indications, strongly reacted to all the accusations against Vince, pushing for WWE to due their due diligence and investigate.

Jeffrey R. Speed, who was removed from the Board, was also part of the investigation.

JoEllen Lyons Dillon, who was also removed today, joined the Board after the investigation and was not part of that process.
