Max Durpi appeared as part of the Maximum Male Models faction on Friday Night’s WWE SmackDown. This comes after previous reports indicated that he was removed from the group, due to “rubbing some people the wrong way.” Additional reports noted that Vince McMahon made the call to remove Max as the mouthpiece of the group. It had been said that Max knew he was being replaced by his sister, Maxxine when the announcement was made that she would be joining the group the following week.
During the show, the Maximum Male Models showed off their 2022 SummerSlam Beachwear Collection. The segment ended with Max and Maxxine Dupri appearing with man.soor and ma.ce. Max went on to say they are still looking for more models for their group.
Maxxine Dupri is formerly known as Sofia Cromwell on NXT 2.0. During her time on the brand, she had been associated with Von Wagner and Mr. Stone. She was written off NXT television only in passing, when Wagner said if she wanted to be a model, he “didn’t give a s—”.
