Ava Raine (Simone Johnson, real-life daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) made an appearance during the NXT Live Event Friday night, which was held at the Citrus Springs Community Center in Dunnellon, Florida.
Raine came out during one of the women’s matches, walking around the ring and watching some of the match before leaving. This has begun speculation that Raine was scouting the talent for some type of possible future angle or storyline.
There were two women’s matches on the show were Tiffany Stratton vs. Amari Miller and newly crowned NXT 2.0 Women’s Tag Team Champions Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade vs. Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin of Toxic Attraction. Stratton was victorious over Miller and the new Women’s Tag Team Championships won their match against Jayne and Dolin.
Simone Johnson reported to the WWE Performance Center back in February 2020. She took to Twitter this past May to explain why she chose not to have Johnson as part of her in-ring name.
