Saraya-Jade Bevis is no longer known as WWE Superstar Paige.
The 29 year-old Bevis posted a column to the Player’s Tribune Wednesday saying goodbye WWE. She had been with the company since 2011. Paige first began with WWE when she was 18 years-old.
She said that it is hard to say goodbye. She also thanked those that she worked with over the years including AJ Lee, the Bella Twins, Natalya, Tenille Dashwood, and more. She also noted her time in WWE began in an era that was not far removed from when the women’s division consisted of “Bra and Panties Matches.”
Bevis did go on to thank those in executive roles who contributed to the women’s division playing a larger role in the company, which included Paul Levesque, Stephanie McMahon, Dusty Rhodes, Tom Prichard, Norman Smiley, Joey Mercury, and Steve Keirn.
She closed by thanking the fans and saying that fans can expect to see more of her “down the road.”
Paige’s WWE contract has officially expired.
