The official WWE 2K22 Twitter account announced that the upcoming video game will not be available this year.
Following the release of WWE 2K20 in September of 2019, a video game which was regarded as a disappointment, 2K released an over the top, arcade style game called WWE Battlegrounds in September of last year.
WWE 2K22, the upcoming installment in the 2K franchise, has been advertised and there’s now a tentative release date along with a trailer to go with it. The WWE 2K22 Twitter account tweeted that the video game will be released in March 2022 as opposed to a usual fall release.
A new trailer was released during SummerSlam advertising new controls, stunning graphics and a redesigned engine, with a tag line It Hits Different.
