The family of Bruce “Butch” Reed recently spoke with FOX4 in Kansas City, blaming COVID-19 for his death last Friday. He was 66 years old.
Reed’s family had announced he passed away due to heart complications. However, his family told FOX4 that he had tested positive for COVID-19 around January 12.
“It’s like a dream,” Reed’s sister, Joyce Reed Crittenden said.
“He’s going to be missed. He’s much-loved. I’m just glad I had him as long as I did,” Butch’s son, Bryan Reed said.
Bruce “Butch” Reed, was well known for his time in WWF, WCW, and Mid-South Wrestling.
