During last night’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, it was revealed that Carmella (view above) was the mystery woman in the vignettes that have aired over the last several weeks.
Carmella cut a promo stating she needed to take a good look in the mirror and see who she really is. She then said that she forgot who she was and got lost along the way while doing everything for the fans, and blamed the fans. She went on to say that it was the fans that wanted her to do everything their way, but that got her absolutely nowhere.
She then closed by saying that she remembered who she is, and that she’s better than everyone else, and thus declared that she is no longer the fan’s princess, and it doesn’t matter if she gets drafted to Monday Night Raw or to Friday Night SmackDown, because she’s untouchable.
Carmella’s last WWE TV appearance was at the Money In the Bank PPV on May 10, 2020 in the Ladder Match for the Raw Women’s Championship.
Her last appearance on SmackDown was the May 8, 2020 episode in a backstage segment to promote Money In the Bank. Prior to that, Her last television match was on the April 24, 2020 episode of SmackDown where she defeated Mandy Rose in a MITB qualifying match.
