FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

** FCW WRESTLING RETURNS TO PUNTA GORDA
STREET FIGHT & TUXEDO MATCH TO HEADLINE SHOW
PLUS APPEARANCE BY WWE HALL OF FAMER**

Punta Gorda, Fl – September 22, 2010

Florida Championship Wrestling returns to Punta Gorda this Friday, September 24th. Officials have announced a night of firsts for the crowd in Punta Gorda. The show will be headlined by NXT Season 2 Rookies, Husky Harris and Michael Mcgillicutty squaring off for the first time ever in a Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight.

“There’s a certain degree unpredictability associated with a Falls Count Anywhere match” says FCW President Steve Keirn. “As a fan, you’re almost on the edge of your seat because you really have no idea where the competitors are headed or what they may try to do.” A Falls Count Anywhere stipulation match is described as a match where pinfalls or submissions can take place in any location inside or out of the building. As a result, the match cannot end with a Disqualification of any kind.

In addition to the Falls Count Anywhere Match, FCW Superstars Byron Saxton and Derrick Bateman will face off in a Tuxedo Match. Indicative of its name, both competitors will enter the ring wearing tuxedos. The first competitor to strip the other of their tuxedo will win the match. As an added bonus, the special guest referee will be WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel. Finkel served as the WWE’s (then WWF) premiere ring announcer during a career that has spanned the 1970’s, 80s and 90’s. Over the last ten years, Finkel has continued to work within the WWE offices in Stamford, CT while making sporadic special guest appearances on WWE programming. He is credited with being the company’s very first and longest reigning employee. Finkel will also be appearing in a meet and greet autograph session prior to the show from 6:30 – 8pm.

The 1st 500 fans through the door will receive a free set of serried three FCW Trading cards.

FCW rolls into the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center located at 75 Taylor Road on Friday, September 24th. Gold Circle Ticket Holders will be admitted to the show at 6pm while doors for General Admission open at 6:30pm. Bell time is 8pm. Howard Finkel will be available prior to the show to meet and sign autographs for fans in attendance. All fans in attendance will receive free FCW trading cards.
