Ronda Rousey stepped back into the wrestling ring over the weekend.
Rousey was training over the weekend at a gym with Teal Piper, the daughter of the late “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Piper has been sidelined after undergoing a reconstruction of her meniscus and ACL.
Piper made her professional wrestling debut last year on the AEW All Out Buy In Show in the Casino Battle Royal. She is currently a member of the Women of Wrestling roster.
Rousey has not been seen on WWE television since losing to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35. She is reportedly under contract with WWE until April 2021. Rousey, who was friends with Roddy Piper (he allowed her to use the “Rowdy” nickname), noted that she “missed being this kind of sore.”
