According to a new report by PWInsider, WWE has signed former CZW Champion and EVOLVE star Joe Gacy to an NXT developmental deal.
Gacy made his professional wrestling debut in 2006 and has wrestled in Northeastern independent scene, as well as WXW in Germany.
He was also a co-holder of the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship as a member of The Unwanted faction with Colby Corino and Shane Strickland.
It was also said that Gacy is the last of the talent from EVOLVE that is expected to be signed by WWE at this time. He now joins Josh Briggs, Anthony Greene, Brandi Lauren, Leon Ruff, Curt Stallion and referee Jake Clemons who are all former EVOLVE talent that have signed with WWE.
This past July, WWE completed the purchase of EVOLVE from Gabe Sapolsky and Sal Hamaoui after negotiating with them for several months.
