Warner Bros. Pictures has released a teaser trailer (above) for the upcoming “The Suicide Squad” movie, which will feature John Cena as one of the characters.
Cena will play the role Christopher Smith, who is known as the Peacemaker in the superhero group. This is the sequel to the “Suicide Squad,” which premiered in 2016. Cena was not in that movie.
The movie is scheduled to be released on August 6, 2021.
Cena’s next movie premiere will be on April 2, 2021 for F9, the latest installment of the “Fast & Furious” franchise. Cena last appeared with WWE on Night Two of WrestleMania 36 against Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Fun House Match.
