Former WWE Superstar Rusev (Miroslav Barnyashev) announced during his Twitch stream that he has tested positive for COVID-19 after initially being told the test was negative.
Barnyashev’s wife CJ “Lana” Perry provided a update yesterday on her parent’s condition after she revealed last Thursday that they both had tested positive for COVID-19.
Barnyashev was released this past April due to budget cuts releated to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He has continued to be teased in the latest IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary video promo. However, with the pay-per-view next Saturday, it is unlikey at this point he would make his debut with the company.
