Evelyn Edwards, the mother of Linda McMahon, passed away last week at the age of 93.
The passing was announced by her granddaughter, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque. One of the last things she said was, “Let there be love.” Stephanie also noted that she passed away peacefully, surrounded by the people who loved her.
Edwards was a budget analyst at NARF, which was located at the Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, North Carolina. Edwards worked with Vince McMahon’s mother, which was how Vince and Linda met.
On behalf of the staff of Wrestleview, we extend our deepest condolences to the McMahon family as they deal with this loss.
Last week my 93 yr old grandmother passed peacefully, surrounded by people who love her. One of the last things she said to me was, “Let there be love”. Love is what heals us all. To anyone who is hurting or struggling, I send my love to you. #RIPMima Thank you for everything. ❤️ pic.twitter.com/BJ58ISdmTF
