Friday Night SmackDown will air tonight from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Tonight’s show, the final before WWE Backlash, will see the finals of the WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament. Daniel Bryan will battle AJ Styles with the winner becoming the Intercontinental Champion. Former champion Sami Zayn was stripped of the championship after choosing not to compete during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also scheduled for tonight is a contract signing between Sheamus and Jeff Hardy before they meet at Backlash. We will also see the return of Tucker as Heavy Machinery reunites to team with Braun Strowman against Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, and John Morrison.
