WWE 24/7 Champion Rob Gronkowski took to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Twitter account noted as “Mr. 24/7” in a video short to comment on his status as the 24/7 Champion.
It what appears to be directed towards his new Buccaneers teammates he said there needs to be “Security everywhere – every tunnel – every entrance – everywhere in the stadium.”
Gronkowski also went on to say that “it’s special right now” to have the title during this quarantine time, because no can find him, and he is “the champ for a while” and that everyone is going to be coming for him, and that he “has got to have extra security.”
We reported this past Tuesday that Gronkowski was coming out of retirement and returning to the NFL, as he was traded by the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2020 Draft.
Gronkowski’s contract with the Buccaneers one-year worth $10 million dollars.
It is still not known at this time what this means for his WWE contract, which was signed sometime in March of this year.
