Georgia Smith, the daughter of the late “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, posted an update WWE told her about the status of the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony.
After the announcement last night that WrestleMania 36 was being relocated to the WWE Performance Center due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), it was also announced that NXT TakeOver and the Hall of Fame Ceremony would not be taking place.
Smith said she spoke with WWE and they are tentatively hoping to have the Hall of Fame Ceremony during SummerSlam. It should be noted that this is not a confirmed time, but WWE’s hope for now. There is no clear guidance on when the COVID-19 pandemic will dissipate.
