According to Ryan Bass, a CBS Tampa anchor, Jane Castor, the Mayor of Tampa, will meet with Tampa officials on Thursday to discuss potentially canceling or postponing major events in the city due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
WrestleMania 36 would be involved in those discussions as it qualifies as a major event in the area and will add a boost to the local economy. If the City of Tampa were to cancel WrestleMania, WWE would have to give in to the decision. There are no known contingency plans for WWE should this happen.
