On Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Backstage on FS1, WWE confirmed that Timothy Thatcher and Killer Kross have signed with the company.
Several media outlets, including PWInsider were reporting that Thatcher and Kross had both come to terms with WWE for an NXT deal.
Thatcher has wrestled most notably for EVOLVE Wrestling, WXW in Germany, Revolution Pro in Great Britain, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Combat Zone Wrestling, Progress Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, among several other independent promotions around the world.
It should also be noted that Thatcher’s been a frequent tag team partner of Current NXT UK Champion WALTER.
Thatcher is also the second and final wrestler, after Drew Galloway, to simultaneously hold the EVOLVE and Open The Freedom Gate Championships.
Killer Kross is a former IMPACT Wrestling star. He wrestled at Major League Wrestling’s Fightland event in Philadelphia over this past weekend.
It was noted on WWE Backstage that while that the details of Kross’s signing are scarce, the deal came together in recent weeks amidst offers from every wrestling promotion.
Kross’ real-life girlfriend Elizabeth Chihaia, formally known as Scarlett Bordeaux in IMPACT, signed a WWE Performance Center deal last November.
WWE on FOX posted the clip from Tuesday’s show confirming the signings. WWE also confirmed the signings on their website and Twitter.
It should also be noted that WWE made no mention of Killer Kross working for IMPACT Wrestling, or Timothy Thatcher working for Major League Wrestling.

Killer Kross and Timothy Thatcher report to WWE Performance Center
The newest recruits to report to the WWE Performance Center include two highly touted in-ring competitors.
Timothy Thatcher is a world-renowned mat wrestler widely regarded as one of the toughest grapplers inside the squared circle, and has competed against the likes of Drew McIntyre, NXT North American Champion Keith Lee and Matt Riddle, among others. Thatcher is a former EVOLVE Champion and WXW Unified World Champion. He’s also been a frequent tag team partner of NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER.
Kevin Kesar, better known as Killer Kross, is a towering competitor at 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds, and has a background in catch wrestling and sambo. Kesar has competed in India and Mexico, and was recognized as a rising star of the squared circle by the revered Cauliflower Alley Club in 2018.
