As first reported on PWInsider and confirmed by multiple sources, AJ Styles suffered a separated shoulder during last night’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
The injury apparently happened when Edge connected with a spear on Styles. Styles was attempting to turn himself inside out, but landed awkwardly on his left shoulder. Here is a clip of where the injury happened:

Shortly after the injury, a referee came up to Edge from the apron and spoke with him about the next steps. Edge then eliminated Styles. Styles was evaluated backstage and was reportedly seen icing the shoulder.
It remains to be seen how much time, if any, Styles will be sidelined by the injury. We will continue to follow this story as more develops.
