Mauro Ranallo will be returning to commentary on NXT this Wednesday.
According to a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet and confirmed by other sources, Ranallo will be returning to his post as lead commentator of WWE NXT on this Wednesday’s episode.
Ranallo last commentated on the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III event last Saturday. Ranallo, who suffers from bipolar disorder, deleted his social media accounts following a negative tweet from Corey Graves about his commentating:
“Just for the record guys, I know you wouldn’t know it, but there’s actually a WWE Hall of Famer AND a former Ring of Honor Champion on commentary. I’d imagine they have a lot to offer.”
Ranallo did not attend Survivor Series, where he was scheduled to commentate on some matches, and missed this past Wednesday’s episode of NXT. Graves would later apologize on his After the Bell podcast, saying he would never intentionally cause someone stress, especially a co-worker. Graves stopped short of naming Ranallo directly.
