STAMFORD, Conn., May 12, 2010 – In the month of March, World Wrestling Entertainment®’s flagship website, WWE.com, had more U.S. visits than premiere pop culture and sports hubs Nickelodeon.com, PerezHilton.com, CBS.com, NBC.com, NBA.com and NFL.com, according to Hitwise, a leading online competitive intelligence provider.
On March 29, the day following WrestleMania® XXVI, WWE.com had its second highest day ever in terms of page views with 88.8 million, and was the most searched entity for Yahoo on March 29-30. WWE.com additionally reported 480 million page views for the month of March, a year over year increase of 22% while page views per visit also increased 33% year over year, to 16.5 pages. The website recorded 14.3 million unique visitors and 32.6 million video streams for the month.
