First announced on the WWE Now show, AOP have been assigned to the Monday Night Raw roster after being free agents following the WWE Draft this past week.
Akam and Rezar have recently been appearing in vignettes speaking in their native tongues on episodes of Raw. The team has not been in action for the better part of 2019 due to Akam needing knee surgery in January. They have appeared in backstage segments and competed in the 51-man Battle Royal at WWE Super ShowDown.
The Authors of Pain are former Raw Tag Team Champions. While in NXT, they won the NXT Tag Team Championships and won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Alicia Fox moved to the Alumni section
Alicia Fox’s superstar profile on WWE.com has been moved to the Alumni section, signaling what looks to be the end of her 11 year WWE career.
Fox debuted on SmackDown in 2008 as the wedding planner for Edge and Vickie Guerrero’s ill-fated wedding. Edge was revealed to be having an affair with Fox. Fox would go on win the Divas Championship once in 2010.
Fox’s last televised match came on April 22 in a losing effort to Becky Lynch on Raw. Fox’s last appearance was with the legends that came to Raw Reunion back in July.
New NXT UK signing announced
On today’s episode of NXT UK, it was announced that A-Kid has been signed by WWE. A-Kid issued a tweet stating that this is the beginning of something very big.
