WWE took to Twitter Thursday (view below) to ask fans who subscribe to DISH Network and Sling to help get FOX channels back on DISH and Sling’s channel lineup.
DISH Network network is the parent company for Sling TV which is a streaming service similar to Hulu.
It should also be noted that WWE encouraged customers to visit KEEPFOX.com to find another provider to watch the premiere of SmackDown next Friday, October 4.
USA Today and several media outlets are reporting that millions of Dish Network and Sling subscribers, local FOX channels went dark Thursday in 16 markets across 23 states along with select cable networks.
It is being said the outage comes after DISH Network, Sling TV and FOX Corporation failed to reach a new agreement.
The cable networks currently off air include FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network, FOX Soccer Plus and Fox Deportes.
It should be noted that FOX News is not affected as they are under a separate distribution agreement.
Attention DISH customers: DISH took FOX, FS1 and more off your channel lineup. Don't miss the premiere of Friday Night #SmackDown on FOX! Visit https://t.co/PXwzPLUJu0 to find another provider today. #keepfoxondish #keepfoxonsling
