According to a report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, WWE Superstar Sasha Banks wants out of her WWE contract.
After days of speculation over her sudden canceling of an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, more details have come to light on Banks’ WWE status. Banks reportedly was left frustrated and feeling blindsided over her and Bayley being booked to lose the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 35 this past Sunday to The IIconics. Banks was under the impression they would be given a long reign to establish the championships.
While Banks has asked to be let out of her WWE contract, WWE has asked that she take a few weeks to consider the decision fully and not do anything rash. Sources that spoke with Sapp said they would be surprised if Banks was let out of her contract.
Banks is currently on vacation in the Dominican Republic with her husband, Kalisto, and his wife.
