According to a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Goldust’s WWE contract has recently expired and that he is currently waiting for the 90 day no-compete clause portion of his agreement to end. It is not known at the time of this report as to when in May Goldust’s no-complete clause ends.
It also should be noted that Goldust has removed all mentions of WWE from social media.
During the latest video of “Road to Double or Nothing that was uploaded today, there is a tease that Goldust could be the opponent of Cody Rhodes at the All Elite Wrestling event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 25.
Cody is shown at the 8:00 mark in the episode talking to his seamstress on the phone who asks if she should “stay away from gold.”
