Despite defeating five men and winning the gauntlet match on Smackdown Live, Kofi Kingston will not be facing Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 35.
After pinning the last man in the gauntlet match – Randy Orton – Vince McMahon came out and stated that all Kofi had to do was defeat one last man.
That person ended up being WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. Although Kofi lasted an hour in the gauntlet, Kofi he was unable to defeat Bryan and won’t be going to WrestleMania.

Bryan gets back up before Kofi. He hits Kofi with the double kicks. He goes for another but Kofi reverses it into a cover but again Bryan kicks out. An elbow by Kofi. He jumps off the top rope but Bryan moves out of the way. Bryan stomps on Kofi. Bryan with the running knee. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
