As announced earlier tonight on RAW by Stephanie McMahon, Becky Lynch has been officially reinstated and is no longer suspended by WWE.
Stephanie wasn’t done with big announcements. She also referred to the RAW Women’s Champion as being “vacant” after Ronda Rousey threw it down last week.
As a result, Stephanie booked Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch for the vacant RAW Women’s Championship at the Fastlane PPV this Sunday.
Excerpt courtesy of Mike Tedesco’s live RAW recap:
Stephanie McMahon says what Ronda Rousey did was blasphemous. McMahon says she’s doing what’s best for business. WWE is lifting the 60 day suspension and dropping all charges. She’s inviting Becky Lynch tonight to sign a hold harmless agreement stating WWE is not responsible if something happens to her at Fastlane. Lynch will go one-on-one with Charlotte Flair for the currently vacant RAW Women’s Championship!
Per @StephMcMahon, for the currently VACANT #RAW #WomensChampionship, it will be @BeckyLynchWWE vs. @MsCharlotteWWE at #WWEFastlane! #RAW pic.twitter.com/JvUyY6pG05
