WWE star Naomi (Trinity Fatu) has issued new comments on Friday regarding the incident in Detroit last Friday involving her husband Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu).
Jimmy was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction after an incident with police just outside of downtown Detroit last week.
Per the report by TMZ, police pulled over a 2018 Dodge Journey driven by Jimmy’s wife and current WWE star Naomi (Trinity Fatu) that reeked of “booze.” According to police, Jimmy reportedly exited the car (despite commands from police), removed his shirt, jacket and “squared up” like he wanted to fight with the officers.
Both Naomi and Jimmy remained quiet on social media about the incident. Although WWE did issue an official statement, Jimmy wasn’t penalized for his role in the incident and ended up winning the Smackdown Tag Team Championships days later at the Elimination Chamber PPV event against The Miz and Shane McMahon.
Naomi issued this comment to a fan, who since deleted their tweet.
I was NOT ticketed, I was NOT drinking, leaving the lot I was unaware that it exits to a 1 way street (it was dark snow no signs no traffic I was pulled immediately made a mistake and I own it) as for my husband he’s more of a man you’ll ever be & I’ll leave it at that #blocked https://t.co/ymRRanIQeH
