TMZ is reporting that WWE star Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction after an incident with police.

According to the report by TMZ, WWE star Naomi (Trinity Fatu) was driving near downtown Detroit when she was pulled over by police for “driving the wrong direction on a one-way street.” Jimmy, 33, was in the car at the time of the pull over.

Police described the 2018 Dodge Journey as reeking of “booze” and ordered Naomi out of the car. While police spoke with Naomi, Jimmy reportedly exited the car (despite commands from police), removed his shirt, jacket and “squared up” like he wanted to fight the police officers. One of the officers pulled out a taser fearing for his safety.

The police stated that Jimmy “ultimately settled down” and complied with commands, but was then immediately handcuffed, arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction. Jimmy was taken to a nearby jail where he later posted bond. Both Jimmy and Naomi appeared at the Smackdown Live taping in Toledo on Tuesday.

WWE has yet to formally comment on the situation involving Jimmy and Naomi. Jimmy is scheduled to team with his brother Jey this Sunday at Elimination Chamber and challenge Shane McMahon and The Miz for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

This is not Jimmy’s first run in with the law. He was arrested in September of 2011 for driving under the influence in Tampa. Jimmy was then arrested again in March of 2013 for again driving under the influence in Hillsborough County in Florida.

Last January, Jimmy’s brother Jey Uso (Joshua Fatu) was arrested and charged with DWI following a WWE live event in Hidalgo, Texas. WWE issued a statement saying that Jey was “responsible for his own personal actions” and that they awaited more information.
