Yesterday, a report by Dave Meltzer stated that current RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey had a “good chance” of finishing up with WWE following WrestleMania 35.
WWE later issued a statement to TMZ on Thursday evening stating that Rousey’s current contract expires in April of 2021, indicating she agreed to a multi-year deal with the company last January shortly before her debut at the Royal Rumble.
The story definitely made the rounds among media outlets and social media, with WWE stars Becky Lynch and Nia Jax weighing in the possibility of Rousey finishing up.
I’d be looking for the exit door if I was coming for me too. #TheManWillComeAround

Speaking of Rousey, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported this week that she forgot to bring her RAW Women’s Championship with her to live events last weekend.
Per the report, WWE keeps two sets of championships, one for television and one that the talent is responsible for traveling with. The title used for live events generally has “wear-and-tear.” It was described as a “rookie mistake” on Rousey’s part. WWE ended up having to give Rousey a replica championship to use at live events instead.
