Triple H addresses All Elite Wrestling, Update on ticket sales for Royal Rumble weekend

During yesterday’s NXT Conference Call with media, Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about the launch of All Elite Wrestling and if it changed anything for NXT.

Triple H acknowledged that AEW was something they would keep their eye on and will do what they feel is right for business going forward.

He added that like anything else they compete against, they will watch everything and monitor it and continue to do what is best for WWE.

Update on ticket sales for Royal Rumble weekend

Here is a quick look at ticket sales for Royal Rumble weekend in Phoenix.

– Early word is that WWE is expecting in the range of 25,000 to 30,000 paid for the Royal Rumble this Sunday. Chase Field is being setup for 43,000 fans.

– NXT TakeOver: Phoenix the night before at the Talking Stick Arena is expected to draw 8,500 to 9,000 paid fans for the live special on the WWE Network.

– RAW the night after the Rumble at the Talking Stick Arena is currently expecting 7,000 to 7,500 paid, while Smackdown Live the next night is expecting 6,500 to 7,000.
