The Revival reportedly want out of WWE.
A new report by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that both Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, while still in their wrestling gear, requested to be released from the company after they took part in a match on RAW this past Monday in Memphis.
Dawson and Wilder, who held the NXT Tag Team Championships twice and first started on the RAW brand back in 2017, got a win over Kalisto and Gran Metalik on Monday night. As of this week, the team has not been granted a release from the company.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com first reported the news earlier this week, noting some changes in terminology on whether they “quit on the spot” or simply asked for a release from the company at the RAW taping on Monday.
Was told yesterday morning Revival quit on the spot, but the terminology was phrased in such a way I could hardly report that they'd formally asked for their release. Several wrestlers and employees confirmed that WWE didn't want to release them and hoped to fix things.

The report by the Observer noted that WWE is not expected to be granting any releases at this time with the launch of All Elite Wrestling taking place in the coming months.
