The first match on the first live RAW of 2019 was a 3-on-3 match between John Cena, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Dean Ambrose. Seth Rollins scored the pinfall on Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose.
After the match, Rollins went backstage and told Triple H that he wanted Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship tonight. Triple H made the match and added a special Falls Count Anywhere” as the stipulation. Triple H ended the backstage segment by saying “welcome back”, which is a follow up to Triple H questioning Rollins last week.
