Vince McMahon, dressed as Santa (above), made a series of announcements during tonight’s pre-taped Christmas Eve edition of Monday Night RAW.
The biggest announcement is that Women’s Tag Team Championships would be officially introduced into the company in the new year. Details were very vague, but it was a move that had been expected in the new year based on mentions on television.
It was not made clear if each brand would have women’s tag team champions.
In addition, McMahon also announced that John Cena would be returning to both RAW and Smackdown Live in the new year. A match was also announced for next week’s New Year’s Eve edition of RAW featuring Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Steel Cage match.
