WWE aired a video during RAW tonight (above) hyping the return of Sami Zayn.
Zayn has been out of action since June after being forced to undergo not one, but two surgeries to repair a torn rotator cuff in his left and right shoulders.
If you recall, Zayn initially underwent surgery to repair his left rotator cuff back in 2015. Zayn ended up hurting his shoulder during his official debut segment as part of the main roster in May of 2015. WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart introduced Zayn as the challenger to Cena in his hometown of Montreal. During his entrance, Zayn threw his arms up on the steel steps and could be seen noticeably favoring his shoulder immediately.
Zayn had his second rotator cuff surgery completed back in August.
No official date was given for his WWE return as of now.
