It was announced this week that the XFL would be holding a press conference to reveal the eight cities part of the inaugural season in 2020.
The announcement, which is set for next Wednesday at Metlife Stadium, appears to have been spoiled inadvertently by the own league online.
According to a report by Mandatory.com, all eight cities were listed on the XFL contact page along with phone numbers. The cities included:
Dallas
Houston
Los Angeles
New York
St. Louis
Seattle
Tampa Bay
Washington, DC
St. Louis was already being touted as a rumored market. The cities have since been removed from the league contact page online.
