WWE.com is reporting that Braun Strowman underwent successful surgery today in Birmingham, Alabama to repair an elbow injury.
As reported earlier, Strowman was suffering from bone spurs in his elbow. WWE setup Strowman’s surgery and time off with a storyline where he was attacked by Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin two weeks ago on RAw.
During RAW this past Monday, Baron Corbin “made it clear” that his match with Strowman is still on for TLC. No official word yet on the recovery time for Strowman, as his status for the PPV was still in question before undergoing the surgery.
The stipulation for Strowman vs. Corbin at WWE TLC is that if Strowman wins, Corbin loses all authority as Acting General Manager of RAW and Strowman would go on to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble in January for the Universal Championship. If Corbin wins, he gets to be the permanent General Manager of RAW going forward.
