WWE reworks NXT UK contracts
WrestleTalk is reporting that WWE approached talent at the NXT UK tapings this past weekend in Liverpool with new contracts as part of the brand.
The deals, which come with a pay raise, restricted talent from working for promotions that WWE currently isn’t affiliated with overseas. These partner groups include PROGRESS, ICW, Fight Club Pro, Attack! Pro Wrestling, Futureshock, Over the Top Wrestling and wXw.
Any talent who have committed to bookings through the end of the year are being allowed to fulfill those dates. PWInsider is reporting that while talent is allowed to work for specific partner groups, they must be dark matches and nothing filmed for TV, DVD or streaming.
