WWE has uploaded video (above) of former Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making a surprise appearance at Sunday night’s Hell in a Cell PPV in San Antonio.
Lesnar walked out during the main event featuring Roman Reigns defending the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman inside the Hell in a Cell.
Excerpt courtesy of Mike Tedesco’s Hell in a Cell recap:
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre run down and want to get into the Hell in a Cell. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins run down to cut them off. They grab Ziggler before he runs away and sends him into the cell. They clear a commentary table, but McIntyre cuts them off. They soon take McIntyre down. Ziggler tries to escape by climbing to the roof of the cell. Rollins climbs and follows him up. Rollins and Ziggler are punching it out on top of the Hell in a Cell! McIntyre gets up there, and they start double-teaming Rollins. Ambrose climbs up with a kendo stick and takes them out. Ambrose and McIntyre then hit a double clothesline on the roof. Ziggler starts to climb down, but Rollins grabs him. Ziggler punches him back and climbs down. Rollins and Ziggler punch it out on the side of the Hell in a Cell structure. They then both fall off the side of the Hell in a Cell through two commentary tables!
Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and he walks out with a beard alongside Paul Heyman!Lesnar rips the door off the Hell in a Cell and gets in the ring. Heyman maces Foley. Lesnar puts the door inside the ring and slams the table fragments off both men. Lesnar then hits an F5 on Strowman. A “Suplex City” chant picks up. Lesnar then gives Reigns an F5 onto Strowman before posing. A new referee comes down and declares the match a no contest.
