The WXW promotion out of Germany announced that NXT UK star Toni Storm, who was their Women’s Champion, has been pulled from their events this weekend due to an injury Storm suffered last weekend in the finals of the tournament to crown the first NXT UK Women’s Champion against Rhea Ripley. WXW also announced that they have stripped Storm of their Women’s Championship.

Storm is also off shows this weekend for the PROGRESS promotion with the injury.

It is unknown how long Storm will be out of action. Storm is scheduled to be in the finals of this year’s Mae Young Classic tournament at the Evolution PPV on October 28 in Long Island against Io Shirai.
RevPro heading to UK television
UK indie promotion Revolution Pro, who has working partnerships with ROH and New Japan, announced a new TV deal this week with Freesports, who aired the now-defunct Five Star Wrestling promotion earlier this year.

RevPro will have TV tapings for the new show beginning in September from York Hall in London with their British J Cup tournament.
