Denise Salcedo of InstinctCulture.com is featuring an interview with UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier discussing his recent confrontation with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 226 two weeks ago.
Cormier, who is a long-time pro wrestling fan, revealed that WWE star Seth Rollins sent him a text after his confrontation with Lesnar and win over Stipe Miocic.
“I got a text message from Seth right after the fight. He goes, ‘Congratulations. Now go kick Brock’s ass.'”
First interview is up! I talked to @dc_mma about #BrockLesnar, if he thinks we'll see Connor/Khabib this year, if he still plans on retiring at 40, if he's defending the Light Heavyweight title soon + more! #ESPYS #HumanitarianAwards #DanielCormier https://t.co/9geykfTISv pic.twitter.com/Ep4YDOKcPJ

Cormier later joked he felt like he was was having his own “WrestleMania moment” when he invited Lesnar inside the cage in Las Vegas and Lesnar pushed him away.
The interview referenced a video that has started to travel around the internet again showing Cormier celebrating Rollins’ cash-in at WrestleMania 31 in the crowd.
