WATE.com is reporting that Glenn Jacobs (WWE star Kane) has been officially declared the winner of the Knox County Republican Mayoral Primary in Tennessee on Thursday after all remaining provisional ballots were counted, giving Jacobs seven more votes.
Jacobs was leading by 17 votes after all precincts had turned in results on Tuesday night. The new count including all provisional ballots puts Jacobs ahead by 24 votes.
He will face Democrat Linda Haney this August in the general election.
Jacobs issued the following tweets after the news was official today.
