Over the next 3 weeks, we will be seeing matches from the “Second to None” live event taped back on April 19th from Baltimore. 

We see video highlighting the first match between AJ Styles and Michael Elgin that went to a time-limit draw.

We see the usual intro, then we go to the opening match.

Cedric Alexander & “The Apex of Agility” Andrew Everett vs. reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly)

Code of Honor before the bell. Fish & Alexander start. Cedric with an amateur takedown. Fish is upset, saying he wasn’t ready. O’Reilly in, Fish gets involved, allowing O’Reilly to take down Cedric. Cedric with a shot to Fish on the outside, then one to O’Reilly. Cedric catches an O’Reilly kick, snapmare and a dropkick to the back for a nearfall. Everett & Fish tag in. Fish with a knee to the ribs and a chest kick. Everett with a Tiger Flip and sweeps out Fish’s leg for a 1 count. Everett with a spinning headscissors. O’Reilly in, but Everett with a dropkick. Cedric in, gut shot to O’Reilly. Snap suplex for a nearfall. Everett in, double hiptoss and a kneedrop/standing moonsault combo by Everett & Cedric for a nearfall. Everett runs into a boot, then O’Reilly avoids a charge and sends Everett shoulder-first into the ringpost. Ref is with O’Reilly, allowing Fish to arm whip Everett onto the apron.

Fish in as reDRagon begins working over Everett’s arm. Another arm whip by Fish, then chokes Everett with his shin. Hammerlock drive, O’Reilly tags in. Everett goes for a Sunset Flip, but O’Reilly sits down and locks in ARMageddon. Everett is able to reach the ropes. O’Reilly runs into a boot, then Everett fights out of the reDRagon corner. Fish with an eye rake while the ref was with Cedric. Back suplex by Fish for a nearfall.

Commercial

Back from commercial as O’Reilly with a lifting hammerlock to Everett. Everett fights back, but O’Reilly with a suplex for a nearfall. Fish in, hammerlock slam to Everett. Everett fights back again, but Fish with a kitchen sink. Dragon Screw arm whip, then Fish drops his body weight across Everett’s arm. O’Reilly in, but Everett fights back again. Everett goes out onto the apron and nails Fish with a right hand, then hits O’Reilly with a springboard dropkick.

Cedric & Fish in. Cedric with a springboard clothesline to Fish. Another clothesline, savate kick to the ribs and a running dropkick. O’Reilly avoids a head kick, but Cedric slips out of a back suplex and hits Concussion on Delivery. Air Raid Crash into a facebuster on Fish for a nearfall. O’Reilly pulls Everett off the apron and sends him into the barricade. Fish with a roll-up on Cedric for a nearfall. Fish avoids a charge and reDRagon with a series of running strikes in the corner on Cedric. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker/2nd rope knee drop combo by reDRagon for a nearfall. Cedric avoids another reDRagon double team and sends Fish to the outside. Cedric with a head of steam and wipes out Fish with a flip dive! Everett with a backflip headscissors to O’Reilly that sends him right into an enziguri by Cedric from the apron. Everett then wipes out Fish with a springboard shooting star press! Back in the ring, Cedric with Overtime to O’Reilly, but O’Reilly kicks out! Cedric can’t believe it! “This is awesome” chants by the crowd. Everett in, Cedric with a slam. Everett heads up top, but O’Reilly avoids a shooting star press. Fish in, O’Reilly pulls down the top rope, sending Cedric to the outside. Fish drives Cedric into the barricade, then O’Reilly leaps off the apron and wipes out Cedric with the running dropkick off the apron! Everett heads up top, but O’Reilly grabs his leg. Fish goes up with Everett and HE DOES THE DEAL, but Everett kicks out!! Fish calls for the end.

We see video on the rivalry between Outlaw Inc. & Kevin Steen and Cliff Compton. These two teams face off next week on ROH TV in a Charm City Street Fight.

Main Event in a #1 Contenders Match for the Ring of Honor World Title: “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles

Code of Honor before the bell. Styles takes down Elgin, but Elgin kicks him off. Styles with a leg kick to the back of Elgin’s leg. Another leg kick by Styles. Elgin avoids the leg kick this time, but Styles avoids a charge. Styles with a series of shoulders to the ribs of Elgin. Elgin with a big forearm that sends Styles to the outside. Elgin goes to head outside, but Styles sweeps his leg out on the apron. Elgin sent off the turnbuckles. Styles with a backbreaker. Dueling chants by the crowd. Styles with elbows to the back of Elgin’s head. Elgin fights back and hits an elbow to the top of the head. Shoulder to the ribs, then Elgin catches Styles off a leapfrog with a powerslam for a nearfall. Trifecta of elbow drops by Elgin. Chest club, then Styles sent sternum-first into the turnbuckles. Elgin with a backbreaker. Styles fights back as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Elgin avoids a charge by Styles. Elgin with a series of forearms to the kidneys of Styles. Styles with a jawbreaker and a series of clotheslines while Elgin is in the ropes. Elgin avoids another charge, but Styles slips out of a German and hits a back elbow. Styles runs into a back elbow, but comes back with the Phenomenal Dropkick, sending Elgin to the outside. Styles with a head of steam, but gets hung up in the ropes. Elgin sends Styles into the barricade, but then Styles handsprings off the ropes from the apron and hits Elgin with a spinning headscissors on the outside. Styles with a flying forearm while Elgin was against the barricade. Back in, Styles gains a 1 count. Elgin fights back, but Styles takes him down and locks in the Calf Killer. Elgin gets to the ropes. Styles with kicks to the leg of Elgin. Styles locks Elgin in a bridging Indian Deathlock. Elgin tries to fight out, but then has to reach the ropes to force a break. Styles with a kneebreaker. Styles wrings out the leg of Elgin multiple times. Figure Four applied by Styles in the center of the ring. Elgin yells that Styles will have to break his leg to beat him. Elgin reverses the hold, but Styles gets free. Elgin fights back with shoulders to the ribs. Big forearm by Elgin in the corner. Styles blocks a suplex and takes down Elgin. Styles goes for a half crab, but Elgin kicks him off. Elgin with back clubs and a forearm. Styles with a forearm of his own, but Elgin sidesteps a backdrop attempt. Styles blocks a powerbomb and sends Elgin onto the apron. Elgin flips over Styles back in the ring, then avoids a spin kick and hits clotheslines to the front and back of Styles before knocking him down. Elgin runs into a boot, but avoids an enziguri. Deadlift German by Elgin for a nearfall.

Back from commercial as Styles slips off Elgin’s shoulders. Elgin with a clothesline in the corner, but runs into a savate kick. Styles goes for the Phenomenon, but Elgin slips out. Elgin locks in the Crossface, but Styles quickly gets to the ropes. Styles goes onto the apron as we see that Elgin’s tongue has been cut open. Styles hot-shots Elgin across the top rope, then this time hits the Phenomenon for a nearfall. Elgin blocks a suplex, but then Styles snap suplexes Elgin into the turnbuckles!! Styles gains a nearfall. Styles goes for a Tornado DDT, but Elgin blocks it and places Styles on the turnbuckles, then nails him with a big forearm. Elgin goes up with Styles, but Styles with gut shots and headbutts that knock Elgin off. Elgin again blocks a Tornado DDT and hits the Hellavator for a nearfall. Styles goes out onto the apron as Elgin goes to the middle rope. Dueling chants again by the crowd. Elgin goes for the Deadlift Superplex, but Styles blocks it and pulls out Elgin’s leg from the middle rope, sending him crashing to the mat. Elgin with an enziguri, then goes to the middle rope and hits a Codebreaker. Elgin calls for a Lariat, but Styles blocks it with a kick and hits a Reverse Rana! Styles goes out onto the apron again and goes for the Springboard 450, but Elgin moves out of the way, both men down. “This is wrestling” chants by the crowd as the ref begins his 10 count. Both men get to their feet by the count of 7. Strike exchange, Elgin gains advantage. Styles then with a series of strikes, but Elgin drills him with a lariat! Buckle Bomb, but Styles slips out of the Elgin Bomb. Elgin slips out of the Styles Clash, but misses a clothesline and Styles hits the Pele Kick. “ROH” chants by the crowd. Styles charges in, but Elgin catches him with ST-Joe. Elgin hits another Buckle Bomb, but Styles comes out of the corner and drills Elgin with a discus clothesline! “This is awesome” chants by the crowd. Styles calls for the Styles Clash, but Elgin counters out with a flapjack!

Winner and the #1 Contender to the Ring of Honor World Title: “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin by pinfall (Elgin Bomb)

Code of Honor adhered to afterwards. “That was awesome” chants by the crowd. Elgin grabs a mic and says he told Nigel McGuinness that if he couldn’t beat AJ Styles, then he doesn’t deserve to be the Ring of Honor World Champion. If I couldn’t beat the best that wrestling has to offer because there is no doubt in my mind that AJ is the best wrestling has to offer. That win puts me in familiar terroritry, number one contender to the Ring of Honor World Title. Nigel, 2014, there’s a lot going in Ring of Honor. Sunday, June 22nd, Ring of Honor returns to pay-per-view. Nigel, at Best in the World, Michael Elgin proves he is the Best in the World!
