We see video on the Michael Bennett-Kevin Steen rivalry heading into tonight’s main event.
Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show, which will be the first of 3 shows showcasing matches from the Glory by Honor XII event on 10/26 in Chicago.
We see video on the recent encounters between Mark Briscoe and Silas Young from the 9/28 “A New Dawn” event in Minnesota heading into our opening match.
Grudge Match: Silas Young vs. Mark Briscoe
“Man Up” chants for Mark before the bell. No Code of Honor here. The two lock-up and go to the outside. Strike exchange, with Mark gaining advantage, but Silas comes back with a back drop. Mark blocks a suplex and suplexes Silas on the apron! Back in, Mark with a head of steam and hits a baseball slide. Mark heads up top and wipes out Silas with a moonsault! Back in, Mark with a series of headbutts. Standing back suplex style slam, followed by a big leaping elbow drop for a nearfall. Crowd wants some Redneck Kung Fu, but Silas with some forearms. Mark with a clothesline in the corner, followed by another headbutt. Mark charges in, but Silas back drops him all the way to the outside, wiping out a cameraman in the process! Back in, Silas drives Mark into the corner. Chop exchange, but Silas with a sit-out gourdbuster for a nearfall. Kelly & Nigel mention that a settlement has been reached in the issues going on with Steve Corino and he will be back on commentary next week. Mark fights back, but Silas with a sit-out full nelson bomb. Basement clothesline for a nearfall. Silas argues with the ref about the count. Silas places Mark up top, but Mark knocks him off with a headbutts. Mark lands on his feet off a backdrop attempt and hits a T-Bone Suplex for a nearfall. Mark places Silas up top, but Silas blocks the Iconoclasm. Silas stops himself from being brought out of the corner the hard way. Facebuster, but Mark comes back with a boot. However, Silas with the backbreaker/clothesline combo for a nearfall.

Back from commercial as Mark dropkicks Silas off the apron and to the outside. Mark goes out onto the apron and hits a Cactus Jack-style elbow drop onto Silas! Back in, Mark begins to unload with some Redneck Kung Fu. Silas charges in, but Mark hits the cartwheel DVD. Mark heads up top, then leaps over Silas.
Silas avoids a corner charge, then rolls up Mark with his feet on the ropes for the win.
Winner: Silas Young by pinfall (Roll-Up)
Mark goes after Silas afterward, but Silas with a low blow. Silas grabs the ref and removes his belt, then whips Mark with the belt. Mark takes him down, but Silas then chokes him with the belt. Multiple referees come out to get in-between the two. Silas leaves the ring, happy about what he has done. We see the welts on Mark’s back as we go to commercial.

Jimmy Jacobs Trial Series Match #4: Adam Page vs. Jimmy Jacobs
After Jacobs 1st win on ROH TV last week, he is now 1-2 in the trial series, losing to Kevin Steen at the 9/28 live event and Michael Bennett at the 10/5 live event. If Jacobs loses this match, he won’t be able to earn a ROH World Title shot by virtue of his record in this series. Jacobs throws his jacket at Page and the two go nose-to-nose before the bell sounds. Crowd chants for Jacobs before the bell.
Jacobs wants to adhere to the Code of Honor, but Page drops his hand, not trusting Jacobs. Jacobs with an arm drag early. Jacobs goes for a stranglehold, but Page takes him down to get free. Page with a side headlock and 2 shoulder knockdowns. Jacobs with a leapfrog, but Page with a dropkick. Knucklelock applied, Page gains advantage. Jacobs uses his legs to get free and hits a multiple revolution headscissors. Clothesline sends Page to the outside. Jacobs with a head of steam, but Page catches him coming in with an enziguri! Page to the apron and wipes out Jacobs with a shooting star press! Back in, Page with a crossbody for a nearfall. Big chops by Page, Jacobs sent off the turnbuckles. Arm drag, then applies a variation of the Rings of Saturn. Crowd wills on Jacobs as he gets to the ropes to force a break. Jacobs fights back, but runs into a dropkick . Page makes a cover, but Jacobs gets his foot on the ropes.

We see a promo for the Champions vs. All Stars 8-Man Tag Team Elimination Match on ROH TV in 2 weeks where if any member of the All-Stars team pins ROH World Champion Adam Cole, they will receive an ROH World Title shot.
Back from commercial as Page has an armbar applied. Crowd again wills on Jacobs. Jacobs holds onto the ropes to block a whip, but Page with a gut kick. Jacobs sidesteps a back drop and hits a clothesline. Neckbreaker, Jacobs fires up. Page blocks a suplex and sends Jacobs into the corner. Page runs into boots by Jacobs, Tornado Suplex by Jacobs for a nearfall. Right hands, but Page gets a knee up to block the Spear. Page with right hands and a running kneelift. Page runs into a gut kick, but catches Jacobs with a snap slam for a nearfall. Page goes up and over, but Jacobs hits the Inward Ace Crusher for a close nearfall. Jacobs blocks a German with elbows, but Page with a Falcon Arrow for a nearfall. Page lifts up Jacobs for the Inverted Tombstone, but Jacobs with a Sunset Flip for a nearfall. Jacobs misses a clothesline, but as Page goes for a springboard moonsault, Jacobs drops backward and gets his knees up. Jacobs hits the Contra Code, but Page KICKS OUT!! Jacobs places Page up top and goes for a super rana, but Page holds onto the ropes. Page runs into a back elbow, but swats Jacobs away when Jacobs goes for another Inward Ace Crusher. Standing Shooting Star Press for a nearfall. Page heads up top, but Jacobs stops him with a back elbow. Jacobs heads up with Page, but Page blocks a superplex. Jacobs blocks a Sunset Bomb with right hands, but Page with a back club. Page heads back up with Jacobs, but Jacobs blocks a back superplex.

Jacobs celebrates his win as he is now tied 2 apiece in his trial series. Jacobs says to the camera “one more win” as we go to commercial.

Main Event in the Battle of the Piledrivers: Michael Bennett w/Maria Kanellis vs. Kevin Steen
Bennett wants to adhere to the Code of Honor mockingly before the bell, but Steen with right hands. Bennett with a gut shot, but Steen sidesteps a back drop and goes for the Package Piledriver, but Bennett quickly goes out to the outside where Maria consoles him. Steen goes out to give chase, but Bennett draws him back in the ring and stomps away. Bennett trash talks Steen, but Steen comes back with a drop toe hold and a flipping leg drop. Bennett goes back to the outside to re-group. Steen again goes out after Bennett, but Bennett with right hands. Steen sent face-first off the apron. Strike exchange, but then Steen sends Bennett flipping into the barricade. Steen grabs Bennett and sends him flipping into another side of the barricade. Steen lifts up Bennett and sends him crotch-first into the ringpost, much to the dismay of Maria. Steen breaks the ref’s count and says that he thinks Maria didn’t see it the first time. Crowd chants “one more time” as Steen crotches Bennett again into the ringpost. Steen mockingly asks Bennett if it hurt. Maria goes over to the commentary table and says she doesn’t think they can have kids anymore now. Steen grabs Bennett and crotches him against the ringpost yet again. Steen has one more post to go as the crowd chants “one more time.” Steen goes to do it a fourth time, but Bennett prevents it with right hands. Kevin Kelly on commentary: “What a jerk.” Bennett with a Russian Leg Sweep sending Steen into the barricade.

Back from commercial as Bennett & Steen are still brawling on the outside. Bennett with a head of steam and nails Steen with a running boot. Bennett gets back in and heads up top, but instead, drops back down and hits another right hand. Bennett has some words with the crowd, but that allows Steen to complete the four-peat of ringside crotches by sending Bennett into that elusive fourth ringpost crotch-first. Back in, Steen heads up top, but Bennett gets the knees up to block the Steenton Bomb. Box Office Smash by Bennett, but Steen kicks out! Maria yells angrily that it was a three count. Bennett runs into a boot, but Steen runs into a spinebuster for a nearfall. Right hands from the mount by Bennett, then he chokes Steen in the ropes. Back elbow for a nearfall. Bennett lifts up Steen for the Photo Finish, but Steen slips out. Bennett slips out of the Sleeper Suplex, but Steen avoids a charge and Bennett goes shoulder-first into the ringpost. Tornado DDT by Steen for a nearfall. Steen lifts up Bennett for the F-Cinq, but Bennett slips out. Steen then catches a superkick and hits a Codebreaker. Steen runs into a boot, but counters out of a piledriver with a back drop. Steen then runs into a superkick by Bennett for a close nearfall. Steen blocks being lifted up, but Bennett again counters the Sleeper Suplex with a jawbreaker. Bennett charges, but Steen catches him with the Pop-Up Powerbomb, followed by a back senton for a nearfall. Steen calls for the F-Cinq and lifts up Bennett, but then spots Maria and instead hits the Go 2 Sleep. Steen makes a cover, but Maria throws her boot to stop the count. Steen goes out after her and the chase is on. However, that allows Bennett to lift up Steen and hit the Photo Finish. Bennett hits his piledriver, but Steen KICKS OUT!! Bennett cannot believe it as the crowd chants “this is awesome.” Bennett places Steen up top, but Steen blocks a superplex by biting Bennett in the face. Steen hits the Steenton Bomb for a nearfall. Steen calls for the Package Piledriver, but Maria gets on the apron. Steen goes after her, but as he steps over the ropes to go to the outside, Bennett kicks the ropes into Steen down low.

Afterwards, Maria tells Bennett to “do it” as Bennett sets up Steen for the apron piledriver. All of a sudden, Lisa Marie Varon runs out and goes after Maria in the ring. Lisa with right hands as referees and Bennett remove her off of Maria. Steen goes after Bennett and Varon goes back after Maria with multiple referees and security trying to break it up, but to no avail. Bennett and Steen continue to fight on the outside while they have Maria & Varon separated. Steen gets back in, heads up top and wipes out the security and Bennett with a flip dive!! Steen stands tall in the ring as we go to credits.
