Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Ring of Honor Wrestling on Sinclair recap. If you all are ready, then let’s get to the show!
We see video of what happened last week in the Briscoes-Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team match when Charlie Haas turned on partner Shelton Benjamin, allowing the Briscoes to retain the ROH Tag Team Titles and cause WGTT to no longer be able to team in ROH.
We see the usual intro, then Kevin Kelly & Caleb Seltzer welcome us to the show, from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Kelly runs down the 4 Corner Survival main event and that the Women of Honor will be featured. Bobby Fish then joins the commentary table for our opening match.
“Ruthless” Rhett Titus vs. “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards
Code of Honor adhered to as the bell sounds. Edwards with a wristlock, but Titus with a fireman’s carry. Titus with a wristlock, but Edwards spins out and counters back to his own wristlock. Edwards with a side headlock, followed by a shoulder tackle off a whip. Titus with a leapfrog, but Edwards takes his legs out from under him on a 2nd leapfrog attempt. Edwards goes for the Achilles’ Lock, but Titus kicks him off. Titus with a side headlock takeover, but Edwards with a headscissors. Edwards with a side headlock takeover, but Titus with a headscissors to counter. Both men then go for dropkicks at the same time and we have a stalemate.
They shake hands again, then Edwards with a waistlock, but Titus gets to the ropes. Edwards with a pair of chops, but Titus comes back with an overhand chop. Edwards fires back with another chop, but Titus reverses a corner whip. Titus runs into a boot by Edwards, then Edwards places Titus in the tree of woe. Edwards gets set, then charges and connects with a hesitation dropkick to Titus. Edwards goes to the outside and then nails Titus with a sliding kick while Titus was still stuck in the tree of woe. Back in the ring, Edwards gains a nearfall. Edwards with a corner whip, but runs into a back elbow. Titus goes to the middle rope, but Edwards nails him with a chop. Edwards goes for the Chin Checker, but Titus slips out and nails Edwards with a dropkick for a nearfall. Titus with a knee drop for another nearfall. Titus with a head and arm lock, followed by a back club. Titus with a whip, but Edwards sidesteps a backdrop attempt and hits a savate kick to the knee of Titus. Edwards with a Shining Wizard for a nearfall. Edwards with a headbutt, followed by a corner whip. Titus tries to go up & over, but Edwards sends hi9m onto the apron. Titus comes back with a shoulder to the ribs, flips back into the ring and nails Edwards with a knee to the face. Titus then hits a Hernandez-style overhead suplex. Titus charges, but runs into a chop by Edwards. However, Titus comes back with a boot to the face, followed by a discus clothesline for a nearfall. Edwards gets out of a front facelock, but Titus nails him with a forearm. Titus with a whip, but Edwards holds onto the ropes. Titus charges, but Edwards sidesteps him and Titus goes to the outside. Edwards goes out onto the apron, then leaps over an attempted swipe by Titus and kicks him in the face. Edwards then nails Titus with a moonsault off the apron and both men are down.
Back in the ring, Edwards heads up top and hits a front missile dropkick, sending Titus to the corner. Edwards then unloads with Kobashi-style chops to Titus, slumping him down in the corner. Edwards with a corner whip, but runs into a boot by Titus. Titus goes to the middle rope, but Edwards nails him with an enziguri. Edwards then this time is able to hit the Chin Checker for a nearfall. Edwards places Titus on the top turnbuckle and goes up with him. Edwards goes for a super rana, but Titus counters and snake eyes Edwards on the top turnbuckle. Titus charges and connects with a dropkick in the corner, followed by a roll-up for a nearfall. Titus can’t believe it, then stomps away at Edwards. Titus plays to the crowd before heading up top, but takes too much time as Edwards moves out of the way when Titus attempts a frog splash. Edwards heads up top and nails a doubled over Titus with a double stomp across the back. Edwards then hits the Front-Plex for a nearfall, followed by transitioning right into the Achilles’ Lock.
Titus tries to fight it, so Edwards then kicks Titus constantly in the back of the head until the referee stops the match.
Winner: “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards via referee stoppage (Achilles’ Lock with stomps to the head)
We go backstage where Veda Scott interviews Davey Richards. Davey says that Matt Hardy is real good at talking. When Matt was in New York cashing those big checks, he and Roderick Strong were putting on great matches all over the world. He was stealing the spotlight from the guys in New York on Wrestlemania weekend with Michael Elgin. In Ring of Honor, we don’t talk, we fight. When it comes to Ring of Honor, he is the top of the food chain.

Back from commercial, we go backstage as Michael Elgin talks about tonight’s main event. He knows what Davey is all about. Matt Hardy says that people are fortunate to be in the ring with the Icon. Roderick Strong is all talk about how great he is, however he does not like to prove it. Elgin says that his actions will speak for themselves and he will prove that all men were not created equal.
Veda Scott joins the commentary table for our next match.
Women of Honor: “The Blasian Barbie” Mia Yim vs. “Your Soul’s Tormentor” MsChif
Code of Honor adhered to before the bell sounds. MsChif with an inside cradle for a nearfall. MsChif with a sit-out clothesline, followed by a gut punch. MsChif with a forearm to the back, followed by a leg O’Connor Roll for a nearfall. MsChif with a back club, followed by a corner whip, but Mia gets her knees up. Mia then hooks MsChif in the ropes with her version of the Tarantula. Mia heads to the middle rope and hits a front missile dropkick for a nearfall. Mia with a back club, then poses for the camera while choking MsChif in the ropes. Mia places MsChif across the top rope and kicks her in the ribs multiple times. Mia gains another nearfall, then goes to lift up MsChif, but MsChif counters with a unique takeover. MsChif then hooks Mia in her version of an Indian Deathlock with a bridge. MsChif hits Unhallowed Grace for a nearfall. Mia comes back with a shot to the face, followed by kicks to the back of the leg. Mia with a front slam, followed by Lucha Strong (Lionsault) for a nearfall. Mia has words with the ref, but then MsChif does her infamous scream in Mia’s face, followed by a series of chops. Mia then counters a whip, but MsChif ducks a head kick and hits Gateway to Annihilation for another nearfall. MsChif follows up with a release German suplex, then sets Mia on the top turnbuckle. They exchange headbutts, but then Mia with a cross armbreaker on MsChif while in the ropes. Mia with a series of knees to the head, then heads up top. Mia goes for SkyYim, but MsChif moves out of the way. MsChif with a roll-up for a nearfall. MsChif goes for the Desecrator, but Mia counters and hits a German suplex with a bridge for a close nearfall. Mia then argues with the ref, then goes for something, but MsChif counters out.
MsChif then this time hits the Desecrator for the victory.

Backstage, new interviewer Matt Ryan tries to interview Roderick Strong. Strong yells at Matt because he is trying to change and calls him a pervert. Strong says that Matt should already know the answer to his question because he is going to win.

“Inside Ring of Honor”
The topic this week is what happened at the National Pro Wrestling Day in Philadelphia last month when ROH sent a match between SCUM & The Briscoes. Steve Corino complained before the match about Kevin Steen not being invited to the show. The Briscoes went on to win the match, but SCUM attacked them afterwards. We go to comments from Jay Briscoe.
Jay says that they were able to defend their titles, but then Corino hit them with a chain after the match. Jay says that Kevin Steen hasn’t beaten either he or his brother. If Corino wants to kill ROH, he will have to kill the Briscoes to do so.

Back from commercial, Nigel McGuinness joins the commentary table for the main event.
Main Event in a 4-Corner Survival #1 Contenders Match: “The Self-Proclaimed Icon” Matt Hardy vs. “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin vs. “American Wolf” Davey Richards vs. “The Messiah of the Backbreaker” Roderick Strong
Strong and Richards will start things off. They exchange wristlocks until Strong with a headscissors. Hardy & Elgin then tag themselves in. Elgin backs Hardy into the corner and gives a clean break. Hardy comes back with a gut kick and a right hand, but Elgin fires back with a shoulder tackle. Hardy goes to tag Strong, but Strong refuses it. Elgin with a pair of corner whips, followed by a backbreaker for a nearfall. Strong tags himself in and kicks Elgin, but Elgin comes back with right hands, sending Strong fleeing to make the tag to Richards. Richards with a side headlock, but no one goes down off a shoulder tackle attempt. Richards then connects with a dropkick. Test of Strength ensues before Richards counters out, but Elgin comes back with a backdrop. Hardy tags in and goes to work on the arm of Elgin. Strong tags in and connects with a double sledge to the arm. Strong tries for a slam, but Elgin blocks it. Elgin hits a chop, followed by an avalanche off a corner whip for a nearfall. Richards tags in and connects with a snap suplex on Strong for another nearfall. Strong comes back with a dropkick and then Hardy tags in. Hardy with right hands, then sends him to the corner. Strong tags in and he & Hardy both send Richards to the corner as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Elgin goes for a powerbomb on Hardy, but Hardy counters out with a backdrop. Richards tags in and hits a front missile dropkick off the top on Hardy. Richards charges and connects with a forearm in the corner. Richards puts Hardy on the turnbuckles, then heads up with him. Richards connects with a superplex, but Elgin breaks up the pin attempt. Richards & Elgin have words with each other until Elgin extends his hand. Davey shakes it, but Elgin clamps down on the grip. They exchange forearms until Elgin gains the advantage. Richards goes for a handspring maneuver, but Elgin catches him and hits Shock Treatment. Hardy hits a Side Effect on Elgin, but Strong comes in and nails Hardy with a leaping knee strike. Elgin sends Strong onto the apron, but then Richards nails him with the running apron kick. Strong gets an apron kick as well, then Davey heads up top. Davey goes for a double stomp on Hardy, but he moves out of the way. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but Richards slips out and locks in the Ankle Lock, but Hardy kicks him off. Strong and Elgin fight on the apron and then Strong drills Elgin with a back suplex on the apron. While Richards is distracted by what is going on the outside, Hardy nails him with the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes for a cover, but the ref is with Elgin & Strong on the outside. Hardy argues with the ref and then proceeds to yell at Nigel McGuinness at the commentary table that he had the match won and to stop the match, but Nigel won’t stop it. Back in the ring, Strong gains a nearfall on Richards, then goes for the Gibson Driver, but Davey blocks it. Strong goes for a Sunset Flip, but Davey counters it with a Low-Ki style double stomp to Strong. Elgin tags in and hits Strong with a right hand. The ref pulls Elgin back, allowing Strong to hit another leaping knee strike, followed by an enziguri and finally the Death by Roderick. Strong goes for the Sick Kick, but Elgin takes his head off with a lariat for a nearfall. Hardy is continuing to yell at Nigel, but then Elgin sends him into the ringpost, knocking him down to the outside. Elgin goes for the powerbomb, but Strong with a roll-up for a nearfall. Strong goes for a superkick, but Elgin nails him with a spinning backfist.
Elgin follows up by a buckle bomb and then finally the Revolution Elgin Bomb for the victory.
Winner: “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin by pinfall (Revolution Elgin Bomb)
After the match, Hardy is continuing to yell at anyone in his vicinity that he won the match as we go to credits.
