Ring of Honor on Sinclair

Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s ROH on Sinclair recap. If you all are ready, then let’s get on with the show!
We see video highlighting what happened at Best in the World when Kyle O’Reilly turned on Davey Richards before the usual intro.
Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show, from the Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD. Kelly & McGuinness hype up this week’s main event before the opening match.
Before the opening match, Kyle O’Reilly comes out and says that in New York City, he did not tap out to Adam Cole. O’Reilly says that he was beating the blood back into circulation from a previous injury. O’Reilly says that he would rather die than tap to Adam Cole. O’Reilly says that he has a thirst for blood and he will make an example of Matt Taven, leading to…..
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Matt Taven
O’Reilly goes right after Taven with a running forearm, followed by a series of kicks to the chest. Taven reverses an iIrish whip and nails O’Reilly with a spin kick. Taven then hits a moonsualt for a nearfall. O’Reilly catches Taven off a handspring, but Taven with an armdrag that sends O’Reilly out to the outside. Taven then gets a head of steam and takes out O’Reilly with a leaping plancha. Back in the ring, Taven nails O’Reilly with an enziguri on the apron, then goes for a suplex, but O’Reilly blocks it. O’Reilly then with a running boot that knocks Taven off the apron and to the outside.
O’Reilly then leaps off the apron, connecting with a running dropkick that sends Taven into the barricade. Back in the ring, O’Reilly heads up top and hits a missile dropkick for a nearfall. O’Reilly locks in a cross armbreaker, but Taven is able to get to the ropes. O’Reilly with a hammerlock backbreaker for a nearfall.Taven fights back with right hands, but O’Reilly with a series of strikes, followed by a leg sweep.
Taven comes back with forearms, followed by an enziguri. Taven then with a hanging version of a Cross Rhodes for a nearfall. Both men exchange strikes back and forth until O’Reilly drills Taven with a kick to the head. O’Reilly with a back suplex for a nearfall. O’Reilly places Taven on the top turnbuckle and tries for a superplex, but Taven knocks him off the ropes. Taven goes for a Frog Splash, but O’Reilly gets his knees up.
O’Reilly then locks in a Fujiwara armbar and Taven has no choice but to tapout.
Winner: Kyle O’Reilly by submission (Fujiwara armbar)

Todd Sople vs. “The Man Beast” Rhino w/Truth Martini
Rhino unloads with a series of kicks and right hands in the corner. Rhino with a clothesline, followed by taunting the crowd. Rhino with a pair of running shoulders in the corner after a corner whip. Rhino connects with a belly-to-belly suplex and measures Sople.
Rhino then drills Sople with the Gore for the victory.
Winner: “The Man Beast” Rhino by pinfall (The Gore)
After the match, Martini gets on the mic and says that in the House of Truth there is love, there is loyalty, and there is unity. Martini says that he has heard all of the rumors, but Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong work together like a nice Swiss watch.

Back from commercial, we see video highlighting what happened 2 weeks ago when Adam COle defeated Roderick Strong to win the TV Title and the fact that Michael Elgin refused to help Strong, leading to…….
The House of Truth (“Unbreakable” Michael Elgin & Roderick Strong) w/Truth Martini vs. The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lancelot)
Elgin complies with the Code of Honor against the wishes of Truth Martini. Strong tells Elgin that he will start the match. Strong and Harlem start things off. Elgin then tags himself in. Strong then tags himself back in. Strong with a series of chops. Both men exchange strikes until harlem with a series of armdrags for a nearfall. Tag into Lancelot as Harlem with a dropkick for Lancelot to gain a nearfall. Strong comes back with a knee and then sends Lancelot into the corner. Lancelot comes back and connects with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Tag into Harlem, then the Bravados with a double team neckbreaker/atomic drop combo for a nearfall. Elgin tags in and picks up Harlem, but Harlem sends Elgin into the turnbuckles. However, Elgin tosses Harlem into the air and drives him down to the mat for a nearfall.
Elgin with a kick to the back and sets up for the powerbomb, but Harlem breaks free. Harlem tries for an O’Connor Roll, but Elgin holds on to the ropes. Lancelot then makes the tag. Harlem blocks an Elgin kick and Lancelot grabs his leg while Harlem hits an enzuigiri. Elgin backs Lancelot into the corner and gets Lancelot on his shoulders, then picks up Harlem and hits a double fallaway slam for a nearfall. Strong then makes the tag and gets a near fall. Strong with a series of forearms and chops to Lancelot, but Lancelot lands on his feet off a back suplex attempt.
Tag to Harlem, who hits Strong with a clothesline, followed by a pump kick for a nearfall. Harlem with a running forearm into the corner, followed by a suplex. The Bravados then hits the Gentleman’s Choice for a close nearfall. The Bravados set up for another double team, but Martini gets on the apron. That allows Strong to nail Harlem with a forearm, but then Elgin refuses to make the tag.
This distraction allows Harlem to rollup Strong, followed by a Backlund Bridge for the upset victory.
Winners: The Bravado Brothers by pinfall (Backlund Bridge)
After the match, Strong picks up a streamer and throws it at Elgin. Strong then leaves the ring, but soon returns to the ring and gets in Elgin’s face. Martini tries to calm them down as we go to commercial.

“Inside Ring of Honor”
The first topic is a video highlighting what happened in the match between The Guardians of Truth and the Briscoes last week where after the Briscoes won, they were the receipent of a 4 on 2 beatdown, but Michael Elgin did not help the House of Truth. We go to comments from the Briscoes.
Jay Briscoe talks about what the Guardians of Truth did to them on TV as Mark says that it was a bunch of horse manure and pig droppings. Jay mentions Rhino and Roderick Strong getting involved, but Jay says that he respects that Elgin did not get involved. Jay close by saying that they are going to the House of Truth to destroy it.
The final topic is video highlighting what happned last week in Storm-Bennett III before we go to commercial.

Main Event in a 6-Man Tag: Jay Lethal & Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions The All Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) versus S.C.U.M. (Ring of Honor World Champion “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen, “The Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs & “The Trouble King” Steve Corino)
All six men stand face to face to adhere to the Code of Honor. Steen offers his hand to King and does a very elaborate handshake with King, but King does not appreciate it and King punches Steen as the match begins. All six men brawlwith Corino dealing with Titus and King and Steen outside the ring. Lethal with an Irish whip to Jacobs, but Jacobs gets his boot up. Lethal then with the hiptoss/cartwheel/dropkick combo. Corino sends Lethal to the floor, but Titus with a Thesz Press on Corino. Corino with a forearm, but Titus with a back elbow and Corino goes to the outside. Steen then throws Titus to the outside. King with right hands to Steen, but Steen with a kick. King with an enzuigiri to Steen that sends him to the outside. The brawl goes to the outside with all 6 men. Steen sends King into the barricade and Steen and Jacobs then stomp away at him. Steen then sends King again into the barricade. Back in the ring, Titus with a slingshot belly-to-back suplex on Corino for a nearfall. Titus with a snapmare for another near fall. Tag into King as ANX hit a Titus slam, and King slingshot leg drop and finally a Titus splash for a nearfall. King with a suplex and goes to the mount, raining in right hands on Corino. Tag into Titus as King hotshots Corino on the top rope, then Titus with a slingshot shoulder tackle for a nearfall. Titus locks in a chinlock, then tags back in King, who connects with a forearm to the back. King witha right hand to Corino, but Steen hits King from behind when he goes off the ropes. Jacobs hotshots King on the top rope, then Corino hits a Saito suplex. Tag into Jacobs, who nails King with a right hand as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Steen hits a knee to King’s gut. Steen sends King into the turnbuckles and then taunts him. King surprises Steen with a rollup for a nearfall. Steen stops King from making the tag and applies a front chancery. Tag into Jacobs as S.C.U.M. triple team King while the referee is with Titus & Lethal. Corino with an Irish whip, but King comes back with a Sunset flip for a nearfall.
Tag into Lethal as he hits a series of clotheslines and elbows to Corino and Jacobs. Lethal with a dropkick knocking Steen off the apron. Lethal then with a neckbreaker to Jacobs while hitting a DDT on Corino for a nearfall. Steen tags in as Lethal hits an enzuigiri to Corino that sends him to the outside. Lethal then gets a head of steam and takes out Corino with a tope dive. Back in the ring, ANX hit Steen with a King spinkick, followed by a Titus dropkick. Lethal then heads up top and hits Hail to the King on Steen, but Corino breaks up the pin attempt. Lethal & Corino exchange kicks until Corino hits Lethal with the Colby Shock. Titus then with a bulldog on Corino. Jacobs then with a spear on Titus, then King hits a running dropkick on Jacobs. Steen then with the pop-up powerbomb to King. Lethal then hits Steen with the Lethal Combination and all 6 men are down. Lethal puts Steen on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex, but Jacobs tags in and stops it. Lethal then calls for the Lethal Injection, but Corino drills him with a superkick. Jacobs hits Lethal with the Contra Code, followed by Corino hitting the Eternal Dream. Steen, still on the top, leaps off and hits the Steenton Bomb for a close nearfall. Jacobs has the spike, but Lethal nails him with a kick to the head.
Lethal then hits the Lethal Injection on Jacobs for the victory.
Winners: Jay Lethal & The All Night Express by pinfall (Lethal Injection)
After the match, Steen attacks Lethal from behind and sends him into the barricade. ANX then brawl with Jacobs & Corino. Steen then pulls Titus out of the ring and sends him into the barricade. Corino drills King with a big lariat as Steen brings a chair into the ring. Corino then takes out King with a suplex onto the propped up steel chair. S.C.U.M. stands tall as we go to credits.
