We see a replay of the ending and we cut to the Money in the Bank promo that was show on this weeks RAW.
Scott Stanford plugs both MITB matches and we are going to see the contract negotiation from this weeks RAW. Which ends the show.
Thoughts
We started the show off with Santino taking on Zack Ryder with Ryder coming out on top after hitting the Rough Ryder. This match wasn’t as good as there match a few weeks ago. There wasn’t nearly as much comedy value but I’m ok with that. Seeing it over and over again would make it lose it’s value. I gave this match a C. A solid match but nothing to extravagant.
Our second match of the night saw Wade Barrett take on Trent Barreta and essentially squash him. Trent did get a fair bit of offense in but there was no real point to this match other then show what a machine Barrett is.
The match of the night would go the tag team match between The Usos and Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga. The Usos just continue to impress me week in week out and I can see them holding the gold in the very near future, maybe even at Money in the Bank. Because other then Santino and Kozlov I don’t see anyone else more deserving of the titles.
The final match of the night saw Beth Phoenix come out on top of Maryse in what was a fairly good Divas match. Both divas were solid. Nothing else to really say.
Overall this episode was again pretty bad. Even though the matches were solid they didn’t nearly go for as long as they should have with over 20 minutes dedicated at the end to the Vince-CM Punk-Cena ending of RAW. I just wish they wouldn’t end the show with these RAW recaps like they have been. I know they are trying to get people excited for this because they have invested so much into it but ruining one of your other shows probably isn’t the way to go about it. Overall I’d give the show a C-.
So that about wraps it up this week, if you have any questions, feedback, hate or whatever, you can email me at amdy985@hotmail.com or you can look me up on twitter by finding @amdy985. Thanks for reading and I shall see you all this week
