During the newest episode of the The Hacksaw Hour, WWE Hall of Famer ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan said that he recently signed a WWE Legends contract.
Duggan noted that there was a discrepancy, but that it got all worked out and was able to sign the contract. He added that hopefully his action figures and being featured in video games for him will be back again.
“I’m excited…like I said, it’s a whole new day up there in WWE. Proud to be part of it…of course, you know, I never blasted the WWE. I never blasted Vince…as bad as he was, I still wouldn’t be where I am without him. Wrestling wouldn’t be where it is without him. I can’t vouch for his character – but as a businessman that took wrestling from high school gyms and National Guard armories to what it is today…but I signed that deal, so hopefully it won’t take too long to be in the circuit to come out with new action figures and stuff, and hopefully they give me some abs this time, you know?”
Duggan’s last appearance on WWE programming took place during Saturday Night’s Main Event that was held at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas back on January 25. He said that he was treated very well backstage and received a good paycheck. Duggan further added that under Endeavor/TKO WWE is an entire different world.
While at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Duggan has previously indicated on social media that he filmed future content for WWE.
